Sterling Engineering is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to drive technical sales and application support for industrial material-handling solutions. This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering technical solutions across heavy industrial environments.

Job Duties
  • Generate new business opportunities and develop project proposals.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through relationship development and solution selling.
  • Provide technical application support and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls with existing clients and new prospects.
  • Maintain and manage a consistent sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support customer service and project execution.
  • Develop relationships across multiple functional levels within client organizations.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales activity and forecast reports.
  • Travel extensively to customer sites and industrial facilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience within bulk material handling or heavy industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of industrial operations such as coal, steel, cement, aggregate, or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts, develop new business, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in industrial environments.
