Responsibilities

  • Developing a strategic territory plan for the sale of Non‑destructive testing systems
  • Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area
  • Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages
  • Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews
  • Managing CRM (Deal Machine) to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business
  • Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, developing new opportunities and managing customer relationships
  • Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, developing deal strategies and becoming the technical solution of choice for the customer
  • Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff
Requirements
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • STEM discipline preferred
  • Have a minimum of 3+ additional years of experience in sales
  • Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time
  • Possess experience in key strategic segments:
    Avionics, Electronics, Space and Defense, and Automotive/Electric Vehicles (Preferred)
  • Have up to 5 years of experience in Non‑Destructive Testing (Preferred)
  • Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD (preferred)
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously
