HP Poly channel partner pre-sales TC (Sales Engineer)
Join HP’s Sales Engineering team and help drive growth by supporting the sale of PCs, endpoint solutions, and services. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll partner with Account Managers to guide customers through the sales cycle, lead technical discussions, deliver demos, and recommend solutions aligned to their environment.
About roleYou'll work directly with IT decision-makers on areas such as Modern Desktop, endpoint management, and device deployment, helping remove technical barriers and positioning HP as a trusted partner. This fast‑paced, client‑facing role is ideal for someone who can translate technical concepts into business value.
Join Our TeamAs a member of the Sales Engineer team at HP, you will collaborate closely with Technical Consultants and Sales Account Managers. Your role is to help HP customers understand the value of our hardware and solutions while overcoming technical obstacles in the sales process. The environment is fast‑paced, fostering collaboration and a relentless pursuit of shared goals.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Engineer, you will engage directly with customers to showcase HP hardware, services, and solutions. By deeply understanding customer needs, you will position technical solutions to address their business challenges, deliver technical presentations, and establish trust as a reliable technical advisor. You will work closely with the sales team, contributing to both new business acquisition and customer retention efforts.
WhatWe Seek
- University or bachelor’s degree (preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to build robust relationships with technical decision‑makers, comprehensive understanding of the IT industry and key technologies, and exceptional communication skills.
- Experience with Modern Desktop and Modern Management, service sales, and pre‑sales technical support.
- Certifications in Modern Management/Desktop, Security, Cloud, and AI are a plus.
- Strong drive for self‑improvement and the ability to balance customer engagement with continuous technical skill development.
- In‑depth knowledge of HP hardware and solutions, with a commitment to acquiring expertise in IT security, OS deployment, and driver management.
The on‑target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $121,000–$145,000 USD annually with an 80%/20% salary/incentive mix. Additional opportunities for bonuses and/or equity may apply to United States candidates only and vary by location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
