Responsibilities

  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities by identifying and contacting prospective veterinary practices through cold calls, targeted emails, social selling, and in-person visits.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high‑potential leads by leveraging data‑driven prospecting tools.
  • Overcome objections and navigate complex stakeholder environments to secure meetings.
  • Deliver compelling, value‑based pitches and product demonstrations.
  • Track key performance indicators, including outbound activity volume, lead conversion rates, and influenced revenue.
  • Drive top‑of‑funnel performance by converting prospects into high‑quality pipeline opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed aggressive individual quotas for outbound activity.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene.
  • Travel up to 75% to meet prospects face‑to‑face and attend veterinary industry events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Sales Enablement to align on campaigns.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and exceeding activity and pipeline targets in a high‑growth environment.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Zoom Info) and CRM systems for managing prospecting workflows.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong resilience, adaptability, and a relentless hunter mentality to thrive in a competitive, rejection‑prone role.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% for prospect meetings, industry events, and on‑site engagements.
