Position: Account Executive, Business Sales - Central IL

Job Overview

The Account Executive, Business Sales role at T‑Mobile is designed for ambitious, results‑driven sales professionals who build stellar customer relationships and bring T‑Mobile’s products and services to underserved markets. You will compete aggressively to exceed sales quotas, acquire new accounts, and generate new business within an assigned geographic territory by prospecting, cold‑calling, networking, and demonstrating solution‑based selling. You will use sales force automation to manage your sales funnel and report on activities and forecasts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation:
    Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.
  • Identify customer needs and demonstrate T‑Mobile’s value, recommending wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Negotiate and close deals.
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management. Participate in product training and sales meetings.
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Utilize sales force automation, manage the sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Maintain and grow the customer base within a territory model.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • Outside B2B sales experience (Preferred)

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment that requires high multi‑tasking (Required)
  • Customer Service:
    Demonstrated experience delivering superior service and attention to detail (Required)
  • Communication:
    Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)

    Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem‑solving (Required)

  • At least 18 years of age

Compensation

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $71,700 – $129,500, inclusive of target incentives. Base Pay Range: $43,020 – $77,700.
