AVP, Field Sales Manager - Walgreens; IL

Role Summary This field sales position is responsible for building relationships with the Walgreens Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers, and Store Managers in the assigned territory. The role requires gaining support of the credit program by selling the benefits of our products to meet or exceed credit goals and partnering closely with the SYF Regional Manager to develop credit strategies that can be executed from region down to store level.

The position requires effective communication, attendance at RVP/DM meetings, and visits to stores with Walgreens field leadership. Both virtual and in-person support will be required.

• Drive credit applications and sales to meet or exceed goals.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships at Region, District, and Store levels.
• Communicate credit performance, business updates, and share best practices during regional and district meetings.
• Adhere to client guidelines for field interactions with field leadership.
• Develop credit strategies with RVPs that align with client internal processes and priorities.
• Audit credit signs and point‑of‑sale credit materials and communicate issues outside of compliance policies.
• Conduct ongoing credit training.
• Maximize leverage of credit support and commitment at RVP/District/Store levels to drive performance.
• Collaborate with internal functional leaders.
• Attend or support store opening, relocation events, or off‑site meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in financial services field or retail store management, or an HS diploma/GED plus 5+ years’ experience in the same areas.
• Must be based in the Chicago Metro area and be able to cover Illinois and Indiana.
• Minimum of 3 years of field or outside sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years client‑relationship management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing presentations and pitching to all levels of management.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Grade/Level: 10. The salary range is $75,000.00 – $ USD annually and is eligible for a yearly bonus based on individual and company performance. Compensation within this range will be based on experience, skill level, or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market conditions in California, New York, and Seattle.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
