* Performs general duties relating to the upkeep of the buildings, grounds, and water features
* Weeds, waters, and installs bedding plants
* Performs generalized janitorial duties
* Assists with mulching of flower and landscape beds
* Operates various non-powered hand tools safely
* Maintains a working knowledge of all general and departmental - specific safety rules
* Attends all required safety trainings
* Maintains cleanliness in all work areas
* Utilize the Rockford Park District's HRIS system for all HR and payroll-related requirements and to accurately clock in and out for all shifts.
* Performs other duties as assigned Education/Experience Currently enrolled in High school or working towards GED Critical Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
