- Assist with on‑site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation
- Use technical abilities to maintain HVAC systems

- Maintain safety on a daily basis and ensure all safety measures are taken at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- HVAC trade school graduate strongly preferred (3.5 GPA and excellent attendance)
- 1+ years in a mechanical support role; some hands‑on HVAC experience preferred
- EPA Certification – Type I & Type II or Universal Preferred
- NATE certification a plus
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Ability to climb ladders and moderate lifting (up to 90 pounds)
- Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service and troubleshoot equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
- Ability to work independently and self‑schedule
- Self‑motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
- Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
- Availability for weekend and night work occasionally
- Local travel may be required
- Installation, repair and preventative maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units, typically performed independently
- Get on the rooftop via fixed or extension ladder and work at heights
- Load and unload tools/equipment from work van and handle tools up to 75 lbs
- Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs
- Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs
- Climb ladder up to roof height
- Extend reach overhead in repetitive motion
- Manual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs
Hourly non‑exempt role with a salary range of $35,000 – $45,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market, tenure, performance, skills, education, experience and other qualifications. Employees in this role earn overtime when working more than 40 hours in a week.
