JOB DESCRIPTION
The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region.
It is the Foreman’s responsibility to deliver timely service to all WTI customers and manage exposure to risks.
- Conduct the daily on‑site safety brief with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew, inspect surroundings, equipment and tools, fill out and submit a Daily Hazard Analysis form, and ensure technicians complete their own analysis.
- Ensure project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project, including communication with the WTI Field Resources Supervisor, Sales Rep, WTI crew members, and Customer/Client.
- Manage project logistics: crew start and end times, daily productivity, tools and material availability, and complete work within the approved scope of work.
- Use the company reporting tool to complete end‑of‑day and/or end‑of‑project walk‑throughs, addressing punch list items and documenting work performed, materials consumed and supplies purchased.
- Ensure WTI Field Resources Reps maintain a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services.
- Order, track, and monitor inventory, performing quarterly cycle counts and submitting reports promptly.
- Provide pricing for self‑performing projects over $12,500 and submit all proposals over $20,000 to the Supervisor for approval before forwarding them to the GS Administrator.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor to resolve employee work‑related issues, take corrective measures, and, if necessary, elevate matters to HR.
- Assist in creating project schedules, reviewing time reports daily and correcting them with the admin team.
- Participate in all relevant calls, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform any other duties or projects assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.
- Minimum of five years in the roofing industry.
- Proficiency with built‑up, EPDM, PVC, and other low‑slope roofing systems, as well as metal and steep‑slope roofing systems and their repair.
- 30‑hour OSHA certification.
- Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Availability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
- English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $55,000 and $75,000, based on qualifications and operational needs. Tremco offers a variety of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, Company Pension Plan, and continuing education.
