Responsible for assisting the Director of Policy & Strategic Initiatives with coordination, implementation, and maintenance of resident and social services programs for the residents of the Agency. These tasks are to be performed at a level that supports the Agency’s efforts to achieve the highest rating on HUD’s evaluation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provides clerical and administrative support for the department including recordkeeping, preparing documents, reports, data tracking, follow-up calls/visits, and ensures work that assigned work is completed accurately and timely.
  • Greets visitors, actively inquiries about they may be assisted and provides accurate information in response to questions and concerns. Directs visitors to appropriate staff and represents the department in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adheres to an established schedule of on-site and off-site client contacts, ensuring supportive services activities are delivered consistently and in accordance with the Agency's MTW Plan, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains a regular schedule of on-site, off-site and community-based meetings with participants to monitor progress toward self-sufficiency goals, document outcomes, and ensure continuity of services.
  • Coordinates on-site office hours and off-site outreach activities to balance client accessibility with program documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure all supportive services activities, whether conducted on-site or in the field, are carried out in compliance with HUD regulations, Agency policy, and the Agency's approved MTW Plan.
  • Coordinates with the Lead Compliance Specialist regarding participants referred for non-compliance, communicating any progress made in assisting the client with employment or education goals.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with the Lead Compliance Specialist on behalf of non-compliant participants who are actively engaged in supportive services, providing updates on job search, employment placement, or educational enrollment status.
  • Documents and reports to the Lead Compliance Specialist any efforts made to connect non-compliant participants with employment or educational opportunities, in support of the participant's return to compliance.
  • Serves as a liaison between supportive services and the Lead Compliance Specialist for participants referred for non-compliance, ensuring case efforts toward employment or education are accurately communicated.
  • Tracks and reports time spent on-site versus off-site to support Agency compliance monitoring and MTW Plan reporting requirements.
  • Coordinates scheduling of off-site client visits with the Director of MTW to ensure adequate on-site coverage and continuity of department operations.
  • Takes security deposits and prepares check requests for participants.
  • Maintains the housing search list for the department and provides to participants in need of housing.
  • Meets with participants at local stores to purchase items for MTW case workers.
  • Meets with participants for case management for credit repair, credit recovery and financial management.
  • Assists with coordination and promotion of various services functions under the MTW department and events and hosts and co-hosts as assigned.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining case notes, activity logs, and other documents.
  • Assists with recruiting residents throughout developments to participate in activities and programs offered by the MTW Department.
  • Provides outreach to resident and makes them aware of community programs.
  • Assists residents in problem solving and identifying resources to improve their understanding of self-sufficiency.
  • Assist with networking and educational meetings/workshops and the development of resident councils.
  • Assists with coordination of on-site events for residents as appropriate.
  • Responds courteously to calls, written requests, and e-mails from participants, service providers, and other authorized agencies and representatives to answer questions, and provide information and assistance as appropriate.
