DOC Southern Region Reentry Manager

The Southern Region Reentry Manager supervises Reentry Correctional Assessment Specialists across parole offices in Illinois's southern region and coordinates risk assessments and case management for individuals on mandatory supervised release. The role involves meeting with employers to develop workforce opportunities for individuals nearing release, expanding reentry services at IDOC facilities, and collaborating with community stakeholders. This position requires expertise in criminal justice reentry, case management, and workforce development, with statewide travel required.

• Four years of college preferably in psychology, social work, behavioral or social sciences, or related field
• Three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in social sciences with direct experience in mental health, substance abuse, or medical discharge planning
• Three years of supervisory experience in a program-related field
• Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, or behavioral/social sciences preferred
• Three or more years of professional experience in risk assessment and case planning preferred
• Three or more years of professional work experience in workforce development preferred
