If you love stats and want to write good quality code, this is the position for you.
The title “Quant Developer” is often confusing. You’re not just sitting doing mathematical models, or just writing code. You’ll be doing a combination of both. You’ll use your maths/stats background to calculate the likelihood of sporting events.
Python is the main programming language you’ll use. You'll need at least a year in industry for this role, ideally within the trading space. You’ll collaborate with other developers to build your models into production and bounce around various ideas – you won’t be on your own – you'll speak with various other stakeholders to ensure what you’re doing is relevant for the business too.
The team have great leadership who have been successful at notable trading firm. You will truly be working with some of the best in the industry.
Depending on your experience, salary would range from around $150-200k with a performance related bonus that can take your total compensation to $500k along with various other benefits.
