Join our client’s team as a Senior Full Stack Product Engineer, where you will help shape both the foundation of the platform and the product experience. You will work across the full-stack designing user-facing features, building scalable backend systems, and implementing intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced startup environment, offering the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to a strong engineering culture, and make a real impact in a complex, process-driven industry.

What You Will Do- Take end-to-end ownership of features from concept through release in collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Develop full-stack applications using React for the front-end and Python, Node/Typescript for the back-end.
- Design and implement intelligent workflows powered by large language models to improve insurance processes.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while contributing to scalable architecture.
- Provide mentorship and help to shape the engineering culture as an early team member.
- Participate in rapid iteration, testing hypotheses quickly, and adjusting based on learnings.
- Drive workflow automation efforts, integrating tools and building custom solutions as needed.
- Define and uphold technical standards, best practices, and collaborative team processes.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack or product engineering.
- Proficiency in React (including hooks, context, and state management).
- Strong backend development experience in Python (FastAPI) and/or Type Script/Node.js.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools and practices.
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Large Language Models(LLMs), NLP, or AI-enhanced features.
- A startup mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, and wearing multiple hats.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, including giving/receiving feedback and working cross-functionally.
- Passion for clean code, maintainability, and technical craftsmanship.
- Adaptability and openness to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bonus:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, event-driven architecture, RAG and Vector DBs, or insurance/fintech domains.
