We are hiring a Lead Developer for our Data, AI, and Wealth Tech teams to build and own enterprise‑grade data pipelines that integrate multiple wealth‑management systems into a unified Microsoft Azure / Fabric platform. The role combines data engineering, AI enablement, and business impact, requiring hands‑on architecture decisions and hands‑on execution.

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, production data pipelines that connect wealth platforms such as Tamarac, eMoney, Salesforce FSC, tax tools, AI note taking tools, and other vendor or internal feeds.
• Implement API‑based and file‑based ingestion patterns including REST, SFTP, vendor extracts, and near‑real‑time feeds.
• Create curated, analytics‑ready datasets (dimensional and/or Data Vault style).
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, monitoring, SLAs, and alerting.
• Ensure secure, compliant data movement and governance, including lineage, access controls, and retention.
• Prepare structured and unstructured data for AI & ML initiatives, vectorized content pipelines, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows.
• Collaborate with BI, Wealth, Compliance, Platform, and Analytics teams to deliver shared outcomes.
• Participate in a hybrid work model, attending the office one day per week in the Chicago area and supporting offshore teams as needed.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership, owning outcomes and driving a culture of reliability and scalability.

• 7+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• 1.5–2+ years of applied AI / advanced analytics engineering with real production implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep Microsoft Azure experience (required).
• Proven experience building production data pipelines that integrate complex enterprise platforms, including tools like Tamarac, eMoney, Salesforce FSC, tax planning software, and AI note taking tools.
• Strong SQL and Python skills;
  Spark / PySpark experience highly valued.
• Experience with RAG, Prompt engineering, Multi‑agent architectures, Memory patterns, Re‑ranking, Semantic search / vector retrieval, Context augmentation, Human‑in‑the‑loop patterns, Workflow routing or model routing, and Chunking strategies for retrieval pipelines.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as CrewAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Lang Graph.
• Real production experience building and supporting end‑to‑end data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience designing for reliability, scale, and operational ownership.

• Wealth management or financial services data experience.

• No hands‑on Microsoft Azure experience.
• AI background limited to theoretical coursework, workshops, or proofs‑of‑concept without production work.
• Must reside within 50 miles of a Savant office in the Chicago, IL area.
• Hybrid role requires in‑office presence at least once per week.
