Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
The Full Stack Developer will ship interactive client work and architect back-end services and integrations that make the agency more capable over time. We expect the successful candidate to function as both a technical expert and a project leader, owning scope, plan, and delivery. The position suits a recent graduate who is a self-starter, committed to structure and responsibility, and ready to put production code in front of real clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront-End Interactive Development
- Build the client-facing work: marketing sites, microsites, campaign experiences, interactive features
- Translate design direction into maintainable component-driven code
- Hold the bar on performance, accessibility, and brand expression
Back-End Platform Development
- Develop Armory
815's internal platform: APIs, data integrations, automation, - marketing-stack connectors
- Build systems we extend and reuse across client engagements
- Integrate the third-party platforms and data sources our clients depend on
Engineering and Project Ownership
- Scope and estimate your work, then deliver against the plan
- Write and review well-tested code
- Measure, monitor, and troubleshoot application performance
- Communicate progress, risk, and tradeoffs to clients and internal stakeholders
- Work alongside our creative, account, and strategy teams in client engagements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Internship, open-source, portfolio work, or a project you can talk us through
We are language- and database-agnostic. What matters is that you have shipped real work and want to learn whatever the next project calls for. We're looking for experience in at least one language and one framework. Working understandings of version control, web technologies and relational database principles are plusses.
CompensationEntry level salary range: $42,000 - $52,000 annually
