- Participate in functional and technical discussions with stakeholders to gather and clarify functional and design specifications, ensuring test environments and infrastructure are maintained and up to date for effective testing of embedded software.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies and tools, implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process under the Do 178B framework.
- Oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts using industry‑standard tools, ensuring alignment with quality standards and minimizing exposure to defects in embedded software products.
- Develop and mentor QA engineers in the application of the testing framework and methodologies, enhancing their technical capabilities and contributing to increased team productivity.
- Experience in verification for real‑time embedded application software in aerospace domain.
- Experience in HSIT and SSIT.
- Experience in different analysis methods such as structural coverage analysis, data coupling and control coupling, stack analysis, and other analysis methods as per DO178C.
- Expertise with configuration management and change control process.
Experience on DO178B/C certification process. - Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with standard communication protocols like ARINC, CAN, SPI, Ethernet.
- Primary skills: DO178C, HSIT, SSIT.
- Citizenship: USA citizen or Green Card holder.
- Recommended certifications:
Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or similar quality assurance certifications relevant to embedded software testing.
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
