Delivery Driver- Part Time

Position Overview

Part‑time Delivery Driver for Parts Authority in Willowbrook, IL. You will pick up and deliver automotive parts to customers, acting as the primary point of contact and maintaining strong client relationships. Company vehicle provided.

Mon–Wed: 8:00 am–4:00 pm
Alternate Saturdays: 8:00 am–3:00 pm

USD $16.50 per hour

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, follow time schedules, and use route navigation apps.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at the customer’s place of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports to include invoices, return forms, reconcile debt and credit, and manage all moneys collected related to deliveries.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify manager of any issues.
• Assist in any and all other store or warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years old or over to meet company insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds;
  Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must lift 75 lbs.
• Strong customer and verbal communication skills, with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Experience using a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed preferred.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
