Position Overview
Central Transport is one of the nation's most trusted and technologically advanced Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers. We have an ever-growing network of terminals nationwide and provide safe and efficient service to the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role is for Local Pick-Up and Delivery Drivers at our Rockford, IL location.
Responsibilities- Operate modern equipment on consistent daytime routes and arrive home each night.
- Deliver freight on time and damage free, and unload the trailer upon completing the route.
- At least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Haz Mat and Tanker endorsement, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
- Acceptable motor vehicle record; no DUI’s within the last 5 years (no more than one in a lifetime).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.
