Zūm is calling for talent to join our team of passionate people, who are transforming student transportation. As a Non‑CDL Van Driver at Zūm, you will safely transport students to and from school and school‑related activities while ensuring a positive and secure environment.
This is a safety‑sensitive position because you are responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students, and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. • Safely transport students to and from school and school‑related activities
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
• Manage student behavior and maintain a positive environment in the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

• This role is classified as a safety‑sensitive position
• Minimum age: 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• For Certified Non‑CDL Van Drivers:
  Valid IL driver's license, clean driving record, 3+ years of driving experience & IL First Division School Bus Driver Permit (Non‑CDL)
• For Non‑Certified Non‑CDL Van Drivers:
  Valid IL driver's license, clean driving record & 3+ years of driving experience
• Willing to obtain the First Division School Bus Driver Permit (Non‑CDL) – state requirements, with training provided
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
