Drivers - Part Time-Champaign, Aurora, Kankakee, Harvard Princeville

Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) is a FQHC 501 c 3 nonprofit organization seeking drivers for Champaign, Aurora, Kankakee, Harvard and Princeville surrounding areas. Duties include, but are not limited to; delivering packages from site to site, transportation patients to and from home and back to CHP medical appointments, support medical outreach and education in a timely manner and providing front office support as needed.

The driver is responsible for operating the CHP 40 ft., Mobile Clinic by arriving early to outreach events getting the Mobile clinic ready for patient care. Drivers may be required to work nights and weekends to support outreach activities. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, be detailed oriented and safety conscious.

• Must have a CDL license.
• Transport clients and packages to and from Health Center sites.
• Transport clients/patient to and from CHP's medical appointments.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule and support the Outreach team on community events.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Maintain a route log daily, mileage records, patient log, repair records and the like.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, meets state requirements, fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs in collaboration with the lead driver.
