Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL - we do business as: Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.)

Position: We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver. Your workload will be split between 80% Warehouse and 20% driving and will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, unloading, storing material, picking and loading products for our customer orders. As well as delivering pre-hung doors, and other supplies. This position requires you to physically load and unload products and engage with our customers when needed.

  Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm. Occasionally a later end time will be required.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...

• Use your CDL A license to deliver products to our customers.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of your truck, depending on the customer.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification are a plus!
• Take ownership for maintaining inventory counts with your work area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches our orders.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Lift extremely heavy, awkward products repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.

• History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with Class A CDL.
• Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty.
• Strong physical stamina - this role requires a lot of physical activity.
• Highly organized and self-motivated - you should be a self-starter who doesn't require constant supervision.
• Experienced driver with a Class A driver's license (CDL
  
  A) and medical card
• Able to pass drug test, background, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen
• Required to pass a driving test.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U. S. Department of Transportation
• This role is a Safety Sensitive Position and subject to routine drug screenings.
