Location: Rockford, IL Pay: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. This dynamic role combines hands-on warehouse operations with the opportunity to mentor and support program beneficiaries in their work therapy development. You ll help maintain an organized warehouse while making a meaningful impact in people s lives.

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
• Price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track production numbers and complete reports
• Maintain organized work areas and clean environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained
• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• Assist donors with donation drop-offs
• Complete donation receipts accurately
• Collect and track donor information
• Process various types of donations including:
• Clothing and accessories
• Household items
• Electronics
• Furniture and antiques
• Jewelry and collectibles

May be trained to operate:

• Baler
• Compactor
• Forklift
• Elevator
• Other warehouse equipment

• Paid training on processing standards and warehouse procedures
• Ongoing coaching and support from Warehouse leadership
