• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for direct shipping or delivery according to customer specifications.
• Count, sort, compile records and inventory quantities, and manage types of materials received, stored and issued in plants.
• Store materials in bins, floors or shelves with identifying information and add preservatives where necessary.
• Cut or prepare materials to fill inspection sample orders.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments; notify supervisor of damaged items, record storage and correspond with shippers.
• Deliver items to the appropriate department, plant site or other locations.
• Load/unload trucks and pallets as needed using hand and power equipment.
• Safely operate all assigned equipment including forklift trucks, weigh scales, stretch wrappers and other material handling equipment.
• Operate equipment in accordance with State of Illinois driver’s license requirements or company certifications.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Use the TGM system and inventory control procedures for tooling and gages.
• Patch check parts as required.

• Organizational and data management skills through detailed record keeping.
• Proper material storage techniques including adding preservatives and identifying information.
• Hands‑on experience operating hand and power equipment such as forklifts, weigh scales, and stretch wrappers.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP systems.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, or cycle counting activities.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control or supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of proper parts handling and cleanliness requirements.
