LACOSTA is looking for an experienced forklift driver, warehouse team member for our site in Rockford, IL.

Job Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Weekends

• Mid Shift: 1:00PM-9:00PM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday!)

• $20.00+/hr

Requirements:

• Ensures orderly production and warehouse areas by removing cardboard, pallets, and handling the recycling.
• Contributes to orderly operation of materials storage area by assembling totes.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Operates forklifts, cardboard compactor, auger, and other machinery.
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of THREE years of previous forklift operation
• Must have previous warehouse experience
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
• Organizational Skills
• Ability to read and analyze information
• Adept to handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines
• Ability to lift heavy materials

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (Hi-Vis Safety Vest, Safety glasses, and steel toe safety shoes) for entire 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to constantly switch from standing/sitting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

This is a Full-Time position 2nd Shift, Weekends.
