Hours are flexible: up to 28 hours while taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.
Responsibilities- Assume moderate and less routine responsibilities, requiring judgment and responsibility.
- Coordinate activities for other student employees.
- Provide excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and work in a professional environment.
- Represent the department and university with the highest degree of integrity, applying OSU mission and shared values.
- Support educational programming and community engagement in Holmes County, Ohio.
- Work directly with Extension professionals and staff who lead efforts to address community‑based issues.
- Support 4‑H Youth Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Family & Consumer Sciences programs designed for youth and adult audiences.
- Assist with preparing educational materials, conducting community‑based programs, and participating in professional and public meetings.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
