Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant operations to achieve safety, quality, production, and financial objectives.
- Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership and accountability.
- Improve reliability through preventive/predictive maintenance, planning, scheduling, and root cause analysis.
- Optimize paper machine performance, equipment uptime, productivity, and product quality.
- Manage plant financial performance, including cost per ton, labor, maintenance, fiber, chemical, and energy costs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven problem-solving methods.
- Develop and strengthen leadership, technical, and hourly teams.
- Build and execute recovery plans for underperforming operations with measurable business impact

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in tissue, paper, pulp, or related process industries.
- Proven experience leading paper machine operations and driving performance improvements.
- Demonstrated success managing operational turnarounds and improving underperforming facilities.
- Strong knowledge of paper making processes, maintenance and reliability systems, continuous improvement, and plant financial management.
- Proven ability to lead large teams, develop talent, and drive organizational change.
Preferred Experience
- Tissue manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience from Operations/Production Management into Plant or Mill Leadership.
- Track record of improving safety, OEE, uptime, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

As a result, you promote the achievement of your unit's business objectives by positively influencing the adoption of healthy and safe behaviours, operating costs, performance and production capacity and quality.
