Summary

Shape the future of production excellence by developing and empowering associates to perform at their best. As a Production Trainer, you will lead the onboarding and training of new team members while providing ongoing coaching and development for current associates to ensure production standards, safety expectations, and quality requirements are consistently achieved. You will play a key role in building workforce capability by delivering hands‑on training, reinforcing safe work practices, supporting job rotation processes, and promoting food safety compliance.

This role is ideal for a motivated and people‑focused professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while contributing to operational performance and continuous improvement.

  • Introduce associates to their jobs, including basic training, rotation procedures, and safe work habits.
  • Monitor associates’ progress and report to supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Review performance with associates and advise them of strengths and weaknesses.
  • Forward documentation of all evaluation forms to supervisor.
  • Reinforce evaluation procedures and clock‑in and clock‑out procedures.
  • Facilitate incorporation of associates into the work team.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout‑Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of “Train‑The‑Trainer” course.
  • Strong reading, communication, math, writing, and analytical skills.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
  • Perform tasks for intervals of 4–8 hours with 1–3 repetitions per minute.
  • Work in temperatures ranging from 32–40 degrees Fahrenheit with ambient dampness and wet or moist walking surfaces.
