The Quality Control Technician will ensure that OSP/ISP fiber and civil works projects meet client and company specifications through thorough inspections, documentation, and compliance checks. This role is critical to maintaining high construction standards, installation quality, and overall project safety.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform detailed inspections of ongoing OSP/ISP work to verify adherence to engineering guidelines, safety procedures, and installation best practices. Working closely with field teams, supervisors, and project managers, you will test completed work using approved tools, document findings, and ensure consistent quality throughout each phase of the project. You will also assist in developing inspection instructions, job-specific checklists, and compliance standards while supporting continuous improvement in field execution and workmanship.

This role is ideal for technicians with strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of fiber, civil, or telecom installation environments.

• Inspect OSP/ISP construction and installation sites for compliance with client and company guidelines
• Conduct inspections related to safety, installation quality, and troubleshooting practices
• Use appropriate testing equipment as specified by client requirements
• Assist in creating inspection instructions, standards, and project-specific checklists
• Record, document, and maintain inspection findings using approved forms and data sheets
• Submit inspection documentation to supervisors and contribute to quality improvement processes
• Collaborate with engineers and field teams to resolve quality or compliance issues

• Experience in OSP/ISP, fiber installation, civil works, or telecom field engineering
• Strong understanding of inspection procedures and industry standards
• Ability to use testing equipment associated with fiber, OSP/ISP, or telecom projects
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
• Strong communication and field coordination capabilities
• Ability to work independently across multiple job sites

• Experience developing checklists, guidelines, or QA/QC documentation
• Knowledge of fiber optics, splicing, or network installation standards
• Familiarity with construction safety practices and compliance requirements
  
  Previous work on telecom or broadband infrastructure projects
• Basic troubleshooting capability for OSP/ISP issues
