Regional School Unit 13 Educational Technician III – Library Specialist
Cushing Community School is seeking an Educational Technician III to join our team as a library specialist. The position involves supporting students in book selection and helping with circulation of materials, maintaining and updating the space and collection; and working with classroom teachers to foster our positive climate of reading and support teaching and learning. Our library is a well-used and well-loved resource in our building, and we are looking for a special candidate who’s flexible, student-centered, collaborative, and has strong communication and organizational skills.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and welcome continuing skill development within:
- Diagnostic assessment – formal and informal methods and strategies.
- Assisting teachers in the progress monitoring of students’ educational growth & development.
- Supported capabilities to deliver instruction in individualized, small group, and classroom-based (push-in) support models.
- Opportunities to gain experience in designing, structuring, and delivering appropriate educational activities based upon students identified learning needs.
- On-going opportunities for professional development.
MDOE Authorization Educational Technician – Level 3
Maine Criminal History Records Check required
