CNC Machinist

• Operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision tooling components.
• Program, set up, and adjust CNC milling and turning machines for optimal performance.
• Fabricate and maintain tooling and fixtures according to engineering designs and plant needs.
• Monitor machining cycle times to estimate job completion and manage daily workload.
• Maintain and organize CNC programs and historical data within a network database.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machining equipment as needed.
• Ensure quality standards are met and take ownership of finished machined parts.
• Maintain safe work conditions and adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Support urgent production needs and collaborate with team members across departments.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate machining or maintenance issues promptly and effectively.

• Technical school certification in Machining preferred.
• 1–3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, speeds, feeds, and cycle times.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office; ability to access databases.
• Solid math skills, including algebra, trigonometry, and metric conversions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; frequent bending, reaching, and twisting required.
