Microbiologist – Kickstart Your Career in Food Science. Pay Rate: $29/hr schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Assignment Length:
Long-Term Temporary. This hands‑on quality and food safety role involves applying scientific knowledge in a real‑world manufacturing setting.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC)
- Operate and monitor extraction line quality control processes
- Maintain documentation and records for quality control processes
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials and in-process production
- Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory testing as needed
- Strong attention to detail and independent thinker
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control
- Background in environmental, marine biology, or microbiology encouraged
