This is a hands-on quality and food safety role where you'll apply your scientific background in a real-world manufacturing setting - perfect for candidates who enjoy problem-solving and independent thinking.
Typical daily duties:- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC)
- Operate and monitor extraction line quality control processes
- Maintain documentation and records for quality control processes
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials and in-process production
- Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory testing as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think independently
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control
- Backgrounds in environmental, marine biology, or microbiology are highly encouraged
