Title: Payroll Manager
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + ~10% discretionary bonus
Location: Rockland, MA (100% onsite)
- Opportunity to bring payroll fully in house and own the entire payroll function
- Reports directly to the Controller with high visibility across the organization
- Stable construction company with long term growth potential
- Paychex remains in place for processing, allowing you to focus on managing the end to end payroll process
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly multi state payroll for a high volume workforce
- Manage certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance
- Review payroll for accuracy prior to submission through Paychex
- Maintain payroll records, employee changes, deductions, and tax compliance
- Prepare payroll reconciliations, reporting, and partner with accounting and operations
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Construction payroll experience required
- Certified payroll and prevailing wage experience
- Experience processing multi state payroll internally
- Strong Excel and payroll systems experience;
Paychex experience is a plus
