Coating Operator

Job Description:

• Pay starting: $26.10 per hour + Shift Differentials
• Shifts available:
  Weekend Day
  
  Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Our plant operates 24/7 with multiple shift options, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, 12-hour shifts, and more. If you are selected for an overnight, evening or weekend shift, you may be trained on a different shift initially before starting your actual shift.

• Ensure efficient setup and production of quality material on your assigned coating line
• Coordinate job changeovers, monitor the master control panel, and accurately record and enter production data, including test results
• Provide guidance and instruction to line personnel as needed
• Complete all required production reports and quality data entries accurately and in a timely manner using PMCS/OPRA and designated software
• Review the Manufacturing Order schedule and prepare/plan for upcoming production runs
• Lead and coordinate production runs to meet targets based on job specifications and work instructions
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Maintain housekeeping in machine areas according to established standards
• Master all controls and consoles related to the operation on the line
• Be proficient in web handling and alignment, coat weight variables, tension control, all coating methods, NDC scanners, web drying settings, and safety controls
• Monitor and document productivity results and reasons for misses using designated tools

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher, completed and verified prior to start
• Minimum one (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment

Work location: Onsite – Rockland, MA.
