We’re seeking a Packager (2nd Shift) who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

About the Role

The packager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. Starting Wage: $22.39 + $1.00 Shift Differential.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 2pm to 10:30 pm.

What You Will Accomplish
  • Pack products in one of the three major classifications:
    Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors.
  • Label products before and after packaging as needed.
  • Set up packaging area for one of the three major classifications.
  • Fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards.
  • Properly label wash, leftover bulk or non-conforming material.
  • Prepare material packages by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space.
  • Prepares container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties.
  • Perform proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required.
What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation.
  • Must be clean shaven to meet work requirements.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and use Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass both qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
