Job Description Summary
Under the Director of Administrative Operations, is responsible for all aspects of order management including clinical record review for necessity and accuracy in accordance with CMS regulations
Job Description Essential Functions- Utilizes reports for identifying orders to be reviewed
- Reviews clinical documentation for necessity for orders created
- Reviews referral and clinical records for correct physician
- Ensures physicians align with OASIS
- Calls MD offices as necessary to identify appropriate physician
- Sends orders to physicians via appropriate method
- Able to print orders as needed
- Receives signed orders and tracks into the system
- Follows up on outstanding orders
- Develops strong working relationships with staff in physician offices
- Follows up on requests in timely manner
- LPN or PTA license.
- Home care experience is highly preferred.
