Member Services Representative

Location:

Rocklin, CA. Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour.

We are looking for a Member Services Representative to join our team. This position creates a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front‑desk related activities: answer phones friendly and assist callers with questions, check members into the system, escort prospective members on tours, sign up new members, calculate rates and monthly payments, and assist the Club Manager in counting the drawer.
• Facilitate necessary updates to members’ accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely manner; elevate to Assistant Manager or Club Manager as needed.
• Maintain club neatness and cleanliness: complete daily assignments within the first hour of shift, complete priority cleaning list each day, perform walk‑around and bathroom checks, and assist with special cleaning projects.
• Perform other duties based on club needs.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional manner with members and coworkers.
• Strong listening skills, empathy, problem‑solving ability.
• Diplomacy in interactions, appropriate behavior and language.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
