Front Counter Representative

Astound is seeking a Front Counter Representative to be the face of our local office, supporting customers with internet, TV, and phone services. You'll greet walk-in customers, handle payments, process new service orders, equipment exchanges, and account changes, while promoting Astound products that best fit customer needs. Using billing, CRM, and POS systems, you'll resolve basic service questions, educate customers on WiFi and streaming options, and escalate complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for walk-in customers at the front counter
• Process payments, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation using POS systems
• Set up new accounts, modify existing services, and handle equipment exchanges
• Educate customers on Astound's internet, TV, phone, Wi
• Fi, and streaming options
• Support troubleshooting of basic service issues and escalate complex technical problems
• Use billing and CRM systems to document interactions and maintain accurate records
• Promote and cross-sell suitable products and service upgrades to meet customer needs
• Manage customer queues, appointments, and wait times to ensure a smooth experience
• Coordinate with technical and sales teams to resolve service or order issues
• Uphold Astound's customer-first culture through professional, responsive service
