Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized educational support to students across a wide range of grade levels, from early childhood through high school. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Special Education Teacher dedicated to fostering academic growth and personal development in diverse classrooms. This contract position is based in Rocklin, CA, and involves working with students in grades Pre-K through 12, with a particular emphasis on math instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in math across various grade levels including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to enhance learning outcomes.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential or certification appropriate for the grade levels served.
- Experience teaching special education students in any of the following levels: early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12).
- Strong knowledge of math curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
- Ability to create adaptive learning environments that promote student engagement and success.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
