Resource Teacher
The Goddard School® located in Rocklin is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher to join our team. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Resource Teacher, you will support Lead to implement engaging educational programs and activities throughout our school. This pivotal role includes classroom support, curriculum enhancement and adapting dynamically to meet the evolving educational needs of our school community.

Resource Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum and Instruction:
Support lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers;
Offer personalized attention and foster an inclusive classroom environment;
Provide flexible classroom support for a seamless educational experience - Classroom Management:
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment;
Support daily routines and transitions to promote a nurturing learning environment;
Support Lead Teachers in addressing behavioral issues with positive guidance and support - Family Communication:
Maintain positive communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities and achievements;
Encourage family involvement and participation in school activities - Health and Safety:
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas;
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures;
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being - Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities;
Stay current with best practices in early childhood education;
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Schedule:
8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Work Location:
2021 Wildcat Blvd. Rocklin, CA 95765 Compensation: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
