Position: Educational Interpreter - Beginning School Year 2026/2027 (Classified Position #292)

Requirements / Qualifications

Internal and External Applicants must submit the following:
Proof of CPR Certification or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification is preferred. Must posses a valid California Drivers License REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Certification (Completion of an accredited college-level interpreter training program is required.)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Other (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), or equivalent assessment certification with a score of 4.0 or higher.)
  • Resume
  • Test Results/Materials (Educational Interpreter Written Assessment or equivalent assessment certification with a pass/fail score of 75% or higher)
