Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young students by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to an engaging contract opportunity near Rocklin, CA. This role provides the chance to support a diverse range of students across Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade in a variety of specialized classroom environments, including TK/K Special Day Classes, learning support classrooms, and moderate SDC settings.

With hourly compensation between $55 and $65, your skills and commitment will be highly valued as you collaborate with educators and families to shape positive educational experiences.

Qualifications &

Experience:

  • Current School Psychologist credential or eligibility in California
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (TK-5 preferred)
  • Familiarity with Special Day Class (SDC) environments and learning support frameworks
  • Strong skills in conducting educational assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Commitment to supporting student emotional, behavioral, and academic growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments for students in TK-5
  • Participate in and facilitate IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations
  • Deliver direct counseling and intervention services as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Engage with families to discuss student progress and strategies for success
  • Aid in the development of individualized strategies for students in various SDC and learning support contexts
