Rocklin's Tutoring Team is hiring for a math and science tutor for middle school and high school - must be able to teach calculus. YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE TUTORING TEENAGERS IN INTEGRATED MATH AND CALCULUS.

We need someone available 3:00 to 8:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays. This could also be 4 days a week Mondays through Thursdays if you are available.

You must live near Rocklin so there is not an issue of getting to work on time because of Sacramento traffic. If you cannot leave Sacramento by 2:00, you won't get to work on time. Davis is too far away. Applicants should live in Rocklin, Roseville, Lincoln, Loomis areas.

Must live nearby in order to get to work on time

• Help struggling students to understand new concepts
• Assist students in preparing for tests and completing assignments
• Teach problem-solving skills and study skills
• Prepare lessons with the materials we have on hand
• Arrive at work on time and ready to begin and looking professional
• Eager to help and support your colleagues and the center as a team player

• Previous experience tutoring
• Can pass a skills test to verify you can teach up to calculus
• High school diploma required; AA or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, Live Scan
