Bilingual Payroll Analyst- English​/Spanish

Overview

We are seeking a detailed, Excel‑expert Data Analyst for our US Payroll Operations team. The role is hybrid and based in Rocklin, CA. Candidates must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Serve as a liaison to employees and third‑party payroll vendors to ensure payroll reflects company policies.
• Audit employee pay records and reconcile totals by departmental cost center, location, etc.
• Participate in payroll system upgrades and implementations.
• Work with employees to resolve outstanding payroll inquiries.
• Ensure FLSA status is correctly captured in the system per employee.
• Interpret pay policies (vacation, LOA, disability, workers’ compensation, governmental regulations, withholding exemptions) and ensure amounts/deductions are calculated and applied correctly.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll standards; stay current with changes in the law.
• Assist with audits (internal, state, federal) for correctly classifying and paying employees.
• May prepare tax reports and related documentation; document payroll processes and procedures.
• May train other payroll staff; may back up others performing specialized tasks.

• At least 3+ years of experience processing payroll for US and Latin American countries, specifically Brazil.
• Full fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Ability to commute to the Rocklin, CA office 2 days per week.
• Strong Excel and data analytics experience (formulas, pivots, etc.).

• Salary range in USD: $24.62 – $48.03 per hour; equivalent to $51,200 – $99,900 per year. May be eligible for equity.
