Security Project Coordinator

Job Summary

Junior Project Manager/Project Analyst to join our team in Rocklin, CA. This role will support a portfolio of projects within our technology and security teams, ensuring project schedules are managed effectively, tasks are followed up on, and project-related information is consolidated based on provided guidance.

• Assist in planning, designing, and implementing projects using MS Project to build and manage project plans; outline tasks, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress.
• Follow up on task progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Support light Excel-based data analysis to track project metrics and performance.
• Consolidate project-related information and prepare status reports for upper management.
• Coordinate with multiple groups across the tech organization and security teams to keep everyone on task and informed.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed.
• Maintain good communication with all stakeholders, providing updates as necessary; set up meetings and send emails to facilitate project progress.
• Assist in the resolution of any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Track all Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) work and ensure it is progressing as planned.
• Recognize and address account takeovers as part of the security team's efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in project management or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Thirst to learn and willingness to make mistakes and learn from them.

Hourly pay range: $50.00 - $55.00/hr.

Contract position based out of Rocklin, CA. Fully onsite.
