Legal Assistant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in Rocklin, California. The ideal candidate will provide vital support to attorneys and ensure the smooth operation of legal processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit legal documents through e-filing systems with accuracy and timeliness.

- Manage calendars, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.

- Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks to maintain a well-organized office environment.

- Handle court filings and ensure compliance with civil litigation procedures.

- Follow up on pending matters and ensure timely resolution of legal tasks.

- Maintain detailed records and documentation to support legal proceedings.

- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel as needed.

- Assist in drafting correspondence and legal forms for attorneys.

- Monitor and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines efficiently. Requirements - Proficiency in e-filing systems and processes.

- Strong understanding of civil litigation and court procedures.

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to manage calendars and schedule appointments effectively.

- Prior experience in administrative support within a legal setting.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
