We are seeking an experienced Assembly Lead to become an integral part of our growing team!

- Swing Shift 3:00 PM to 1:40 AM Monday thru Thursday (Enjoy a three-day weekend, every week).
- Day Shift 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM Monday thru Friday.
The Assembly Lead oversees the daily operations of the assembly department, ensuring parts are assembled to specification, jobs flow smoothly, and production targets are met. This role bridges the gap between production staff, engineering, and management—playing a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving efficiency, and training team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train, and mentor assembly team members to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient work.
- Schedule and assign daily work based on production priorities and deadlines.
- Review blueprints, work orders, and BOMs to ensure parts are assembled correctly.
- Work hands‑on assembling sheet metal parts, subassemblies, and final products as needed.
- Monitor production flow and proactively address bottlenecks.
- Ensure proper use of hand tools, riveters, fasteners, torque wrenches, and other assembly equipment.
- Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, welding, paint, and shipping departments to keep jobs moving.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (supporting 5S initiatives).
- Provide feedback to management on performance, training needs, and process improvements.
- 3+ years of experience in sheet metal assembly or related manufacturing environment.
- 1+ year of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement is a plus.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
