Solder Technician
Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Solder Technician to join their team. As a Solder Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting electronic assembly operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
- Install and/or remove discrete components on printed circuit assemblies (PCA's) using traditional soldering irons and hot air techniques.
- Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
- Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
- Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
What's Needed?
- Experience with soldering and de-soldering electronic components, including SMT and through-hole techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of electronic assembly processes.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established workmanship practices.
