McCreery's Home Furnishing Inc. is looking for a talented and passionate Interior Designer / Furniture Sales Consultant to join our team in Rocklin, CA! • Welcome every customer professionally and create an exceptional first impression.
• Assist clients in selecting furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories, mattresses, and home décor.
• Provide complete interior design services including space planning, furniture layouts, fabric and finish selections.
• Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales and delivery process.
• Prepare accurate sales orders and verify pricing, specifications, dimensions, fabrics, finishes, and delivery requirements.
• Process customer deposits, financing applications, and required paperwork.
• Follow up with customers before and after delivery to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Register furniture protection plans and complete all required documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while working with management to provide timely solutions.
• Maintain detailed customer records and follow-up activities in the company software.
• Stay knowledgeable on product lines, vendors, current promotions, and design trends.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and beautifully presented showroom.
• Work collaboratively with designers, managers, warehouse staff, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Meet individual sales goals while contributing to overall showroom success.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Interior design, luxury furniture, or high-end retail sales experience preferred.
• Passion for interior design and creating beautiful living spaces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
• Comfortable using computers and learning sales/order management software.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with design software or tools (e.g., CAD, 2020 Design, or similar) is a plus
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a commission-driven environment
• High school diploma required; degree or certification in Interior Design is a plus

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interior design, building relationships with clients, and helping customers furnish their homes with exceptional products and personalized service. Our designers work closely with clients from the initial consultation through delivery, creating beautiful spaces while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

This could be a full-time or part-time position offering California minimum wage plus uncapped commission with significant earning potential.
