Retail Sales Consultant

Astound is hiring a Retail Sales Consultant to drive in-store sales of high-speed internet, TV, and phone services. You'll engage walk-in customers, assess their needs, and recommend tailored broadband, WiFi, and streaming solutions. Responsibilities include meeting sales and subscription targets, processing orders and payments, activating services, and providing hands-on product demos. You'll troubleshoot basic service questions, educate customers on plans and promotions, and represent Astound's customer-first culture while supporting local marketing and community initiatives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend Astound internet, TV, and phone solutions
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales, subscription, and upgrade targets
• Deliver in-store product demonstrations for broadband, Wi
• Fi, and streaming offerings
• Process new orders, upgrades, and payments accurately using POS and CRM tools
• Educate customers on plans, promotions, equipment, and installation timelines
• Support basic troubleshooting and service questions to improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and an organized, welcoming store environment
• Document customer interactions and follow up on leads to drive repeat business
• Collaborate with teammates to support store goals and marketing initiatives
• Represent Astound's customer-first culture and community-focused brand in all interactions
